Character set

To be created/developped and updated A character set is a standardized collection of symbols used for displaying and printing alpha-numeric information. Character sets, as used by various computer software applications, are independent of font face, style, size, etc.

Character sets you will see referred to at DPC include ASCII, Latin-1, and Unicode. You will not see the Mac character set.
